YES!! COMFORT IS WHAT WE ARE ABOUT!

GREAT BEDROOMS! SWEET DREAMS!

GREAT STORIES WHEN YOU DINE TOGETHER!!

Igiugig Lodge was built in the early 1970s. With many improvements in recent years, the lodge is as warm and welcoming as it was the day it was built. Inside the lodge is the dining area and a large kitchen where our Chef prepares fresh, home-cooked meals each day. Guests have full access to a comfortable living room with a well stocked fly tying table for your use and library of books and DVDʼs for your entertainment. The main lodge offers wireless internet for those who want to stay connected, as well as a phone for calls home or to the office.

While at the lodge you will stay in one of our guest cabins. Based on double occupancy, each cabin has either two twin beds or king sized bed for couples. Each room has a private bathroom with full sized tub/shower, private heat, unlimited hot water and 24 hour power. We offer daily maid service and laundry service upon your request.

RENEWABLE ENERGY

Operating in a remote location means we are “off the grid” and produce our own power. We accomplish this with a renewable energy system consisting of solar panels, a battery bank, and a generator. This allows us to have 24 hour power without the noise of the generator during evening hours.

Iliamna, Alaska! The Last Frontier

Iliamna Lake or Lake Iliamna is a lake in southwest Alaska, at the north end of the Alaska Peninsula, between Kvichak Bay and Cook Inlet 240 miles southeast of Anchorage, Alaska.

It is the largest lake in Alaska, eighth largest lake in the United States of America, and one of the largest in North America, covering about 2,600 km² (1,000 sq. miles). The lake is 77 miles (124 km) long and up to 22 miles (35 km) wide, with a maximum depth of 988 feet (301 m). Through the Kvichak River, its waters drain into Bristol Bay.

Iliamna Lake is noted for its sport fishing. The three primary targets of anglers in the lake are trout, salmon, and grayling. June through September is prime time for catching fat rainbow trout, some of which exceed 30 inches long. The Kvichak River Policy (the drainage of Lake Iliamna) is catch and release on trout (and all other native fish), but not on salmon. Sockeye (Red) and Silver (Coho). Salmon are consistently found in the lake and are open to harvest under Alaska Department of Fish and Game Regulations. Lake Iliamna also has one of few populations of freshwater seals in the world.
